'Inaccessible' Undercity Upper Level Exploration | Classic WoW

This was on the Season of Mastery PTR.
To climb the boxes, jump then press forward while in the air to inch forward and you can gradually climb up. Once you are at the top, you must backpedal to the edge of the box if your head hits. Then jump and move forward while in the air to "stick" to the ledge as seen at 0:30. I found a low level food crate up here a few times which is very odd.

1:10 - Undercity Upper Level

This video really blew up and I appreciate everyone for watching and commenting. You can get up here by using slow fall from the rear tunnel that the flight path comes through, but I wanted to show a way for anyone to get up here without external means, like slow fall or movement speed increases. This was on the Season of Mastery PTR so no flying mounts as some people are suggesting.

Man I've spent HOURS in this game doing shit like this, the game really eats away your life when you're not attempting any goal, just jumping around stuff seeing if you can get somewhere lol. I've found ways to get under Stratholme in EPL, into the currently unrendered Eversong woods, and I remember spending HOURS in Naxx looking for unknown ways to farm Frozen Runes. I found so many hidden ledges and cracks to exploit, but I was never able to find anything that 480p videos on youtube from 12 year ago didn't find lol. But still, it was a journey in itself

I downloaded a server for the 0.8 pre-release beta, and both Undercity and Ironforge were quite different, both with additional stairs, ramps and platforms. These upper floors in UC were accessible, but for some reason they decided to go back on that for release.

It's so cool! The different platforms and bridges up in the air remind me of Darnassus a tiny bit. I wish they'd added this!

I miss going into IF and climbing up the back of that pillar by the bank/mailbox dueling and having a mage sheep you through the wall into old IF

You can also slowfall from the upper sewer that leads to lorderan/used by the bats to the outside upper level. There are crates that spawn there with milk in them.
