Hi GPS, I hope you’ve had a great weekend! I don’t regret not adding the Chanel Classic Flap, Dior Lady Dior and LV Speedy to my collection. Over the years, I’ve found that I am totally allergic to designer logos 🤣 I’m put off by the CC turn lock and the Dior charms, even though they are pretty understated compared to LV monogram. Xx 🧡

I'm as intrigued as you by the Verrou bag. It's true that the clasp is based on the latch to a stable door, but Hermès' design is so much more elegant. All our stable doors have this latch as do the screen doors at our house and bunkhouses. And so do the doors of the chicken coops! If Hermès used this clasp on a larger bag that could be worn crossbody--and if the shoulder strap were leather instead of chain--I'd buy one in an instant.

I agree that the Bolide 45 is lighter and more practical as a travel bag than the HAC. I have both bags and use them interchangeably, but the Bolide is more convenient. Being a Yankees fan, I have the Baseball version. I also agree that the Bolide is better suited to car travel since the rigid handles don't accommodate well to the overhead bin on an airplane.

As for the Garden Party, I think I've made my position clear in earlier posts. I can't see how anyone doesn't love this bag. We'll leave it at that.

And yes, that Chanel backpack was hideous-looking. It's even comical. I wasn't aware of this design until your video and will have a hard time forgetting it.

I absolutely agree with all except I do adore my ridiculously adorable mini bolide. I also have a mini Constance but I don’t think I would ever add any more to my collection. And don’t hate me but I detest the Gabrielle. I like the style ( not the ultra max size) but I hate distressed bags. Sorry.

Loved this video! I love the verrou but its too boxy so not practical for me. The Bolide is lovely but i see that shape of bag very classic and very similar to the LV Alma. Bags im happy i passed on: LV pochette metis. Chanel Deauville. Dior Saddle. Hermes garden party. BV pouch. 🤣🤣🤣

Hope you’re doing well! 🍊If I recall correctly Hermès did come out with a color L4 “Rose Bubblegum” a few seasons ago. 5P “Pink” was colloquially called Bubblegum Pink by H fans though, long before L4 came out. Any idea whether there’s any connection between 5P and L4, or are they independent colors?

You couldn't have found a better timing to edit this video:I've been contemplating all afternoon a preloved 36cm black leather garden party in pristine condition for less than 2000€. I've been thinking for weeks about a 1st step I can make to replace the Birkins I got stolen a few months ago and I was looking for a more low-key bag to restart with in order not to attract too much attention. Your video makes me hesitate even more.
I do love the medor clutch. Being a huge Chanel fan, I like everything with chain or hardwares in general. Shame though that it is too small to my liking. On top of that, they are always in Box leather as well, am I wrong? Robert Nola had reintroduced the Cinehetic clutch to me last week. Still have to figure out how big is the largest size. On the other hand, I have never been fond of Jige clutch: I agree the leather and the craftsmanship are wonderful, yet there has always been something in the design and the conception that turn me off, have never been able to put my finger on what exactly... maybe the leather tab/ strip??? The H?
I agree the Chanel Gabrielle did indeed look ridiculous on you... as much as this hideous black/ white jacket from last week. Had I been with you that day, I would have literally shooed you away from that damned boutique and said something to your SA. I hate hate hate when they flatter us in order to complete a sale!!! Frankly speaking, you do really need a "Chanel adjustment" and it will be my pleasure to give that to you as much as I do really appreciate to get my "Hermès" education from you and Robert! I do own a Gabrielle in beige on black, but I had never tried to wear it as a backpack. However, I can totally picture you wearing a black on black small or medium sized Gabrielle. It will suit your style perfectly but I already know you will never reach for it...

VERROU: Glad u didn’t get it. Yes, the chain is well made BUT it would have looked much better if it was leather instead. Something off with the chain/bag combo.Actually, they have them as clutches, no chain and it looks much better.
I tried it on and the chain just kept on looking kind of “dinky” next to that awesome leather.
BOLIDE: Can’t get into liking it!
Chanel: They never got the backpack/carryon/Travel bags “right”. Just not their thing!
