Today, let me share with you how to make a super easy and delicious TAMALES ROJOS now let me tell you this recipe is made for anyone and everyone to make without any issues in the way, all you need is love, patience and energy! So I hope you give it a try and enjoy it as much as me and my family do ♥️♥️✨

blender- Vitamix A3500

Tip!!!
Rinse and soak corn husk overnight,
For the liquid added to the masa, I add 14 cups of the broth where the meat cooked and 2 cups of regular water!

Ingredients: makes 80-100 tamales
For my filling
10 lbs beef or pork ( I used beef chuck tender roast, beef chuck pot roast and short ribs) boil with 1 onion, head of garlic, 5 bay leaves and 1/4 cup salt
35 New Mexico or guajillo chile pods
6 chile anchos
15 tomatillos
12 garlic cloves
1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste I used 5 tsp
5-6 cups of broth
For my masa
4..4 lbs Maseca for tamales( brown bag)
24 oz lard or vegetable shortening
3 tbsp plus 1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp plus 1 tsp salt
16 cups broth(skim the top to remove excess fat)
1 serving of love 💕

My beautiful family I just noticed the part of adding the baking powder was not in the video 😭 please don’t forget to add that as the baking powder is what makes the masa rise 😊❤

Dude after years of doing tamales and watching this video, I finally got my tamale masa TO FLOAT!! 😊😂So exciting guys it really does float the more water like she said, I've always done it a little dryer I guess like were you can roll a ball, but no it should be sticky were you can't get a ball . Crazy cool thanks Claudia for your videos.. 💯

1:51 Nooo she didn’t strain the chile. Remember to pass your chile through a sieve y’all. It’ll take out some of the rougher skins of the chiles. This goes double if your blender isn’t super duper sharp or powerful.

We have used your tamale recipe before and they always come out perfect. Sometimes my brother in law makes the dough the day before and that really makes the dough really good, super easy to spread .

I just made Tamales yesterday! I used some of your Machaca meat that was seasoned with a blend of your Salsa Roja and Salsa Verde, and I also made some green chili pulled pork. Both variants were amazing! -- Especially with your foolproof Masa recipe!
