THANK YOU 🙏 for explaining the difference between “hard” & “soft” gel ❤❤❤ I can’t seem to find a nail salon near me that knows the difference. It’s very important to me because soft gel eventually leaves cracks in the finish. I’ve never had a problem with hard gel manicures. Needless to say: If the manicurist doesn’t know the difference, they’re not going anywhere near my nails 😂

For anxious people with skin picking habits, I’ve noticed I have a much harder time picking and actually damaging my skin when having gel on my nails. Hope it helps someone else :))

Keep in mind too, if you have flexible nails you’ll have trouble with hard builder gel (potentially all builder gels). Rubber base gel works better for people with soft nails as it has some give and bends with your natural nail underneath rather than pulling away from it like it will with builder gel.

I wish I had this video 2 years ago when I started learning how to do my nails. Like many others, I'm pretty sure, I saw the videos of the quick 2 minute "easy as that" polygel nail art tutorials telling me "it's so easy & cheap & you can just do it yourself!", & totally assumed I could do all these cool things to my nails NO PROBLEM! with the all included sets from Amazon & then reality was nothing like that video, & I damaged my nails cuz I had zero idea how to do it. Learned my lesson, the hard way with a now contact dermatitis allergy. But hey.. It's not a total loss. I have discovered this deep rooted passion & love for nail art, so I'm learning & not just diving in with no idea. This is such a great video to help someone like me, but do it the right way... New sub here!!!😊

I hate to break it to you, but as a former constant nail biter, hard gel can be bitten off. It hurts like hell, but its possible.

Yes! Very helpful! I've been going to a salon for YEARS, and it is getting a bit pricey. Normally to get my nails filled or taken off to put on new tips and a pedicure, it's around $120-$140 (that's including tip) I guess that's really not bad for the quality of work my tech does, but I've been very seriously considering doing my nails myself and this kind of video really helps me to understand different options. So thank you! 😊

Allso soft building gel is verry nice to cover your natural nails, you cant do extention of more than a couple millimetre as it s not strong in off . This video shows she was doing it on natural nails❤

Hard builder is my go to. I have tissue paper thin nails always have and builder let's me grow them out. EASIEST thing to fill in too!!! I had a recliner hack one of my Nails off on Vday this year it was a...mess🤮 so I chopped all my nails off and use tipex now I'm slowly going back to builder. I never ever had a nail pop off with builder I loved it and still do the accident just freaked me out
