The sun has a lot of power.Our greenhouse is on the south side of a daylight basement. It was 0 outside today and 60 in the greenhouse. I need to start thinking about getting starts going as we plant there the 2nd half of March here in Alaska.

The Amish near me put a Wood-fired Stove in there green houses. It gets so warm in there no jackets are required.

What an awesome project! I've had the very same exact temperature sensor in use for years. I suggest shading the sensor from direct sunlight to get more accurate readings! Direct sunlight will really skew your readings!

I really like the green house. Wish i could afford one. The only question or concern, is when the doors are closed at the bottom, when you have a snow load, does it or do you think it will push against them, possibly putting stress on them inward. May have to make or put some kind of stopper or guide on battom inside.
