Ya state the obvious they killed the other negotiated now as well. One was assassinated in Lebanon one in Iran. Both were open to negotiations for captive swaps. Doesn't this remind you of the story of the tortoise and the scorpion? From a version of the story I've heard the tortoise gives the scorpion a ride across a river but in the middle of the river the scorpion stings the tortoise which dies so they both drown. A ceasefire was Israel's hope to end a war that would have ensured peace for Israel, not just for the Palestinians. But true to its bloodthirsty and treacherous nature, Israel assassinated the man who was working on the peace agreement for Hamas. Now Israel faces a forever war and may not survive the conflict.
