Grace, if you go watch the whole panel he does add She-Hulk and Black Panther to the Phase 4 graphic, and he revised what he said by saying “phase 4 ends with Black Panther 2”

I think that Secret Wars will get pushed back, which might be good, in order to make them more cohesive as well as having more time to actually make them look good. Special effect artists claiming that they hate working for marvel because they have to do too much in too little time is not a good sign that two avenger level films can come out on the same year and have them both look good.
Infinity War and Endgame looked fantastic but then both Black Panther and Captain Marvel had pretty anticlimatic final fights that looked like video games rather than completed films, and from what I heard of Black Panther they only had two months to get that movie done since they were also doing Avengers. That amount of work in one year is ridiculous and people will start to call them out on it.

Kevin Fiege made a good choice. The directing in Shang Chi was top notch. I'm still holding out hope though for the Russo Brothers to return to direct Secret Wars.

Feige mentioned Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will conclude Phase 4. I think Secret Wars is Coogler's, if he wants it. :D :)

Destin Daniel Cretton and Ryan Coogler would be such a great one-two punch for Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Only thing that confuses me is how they're going to shoot these movies if they're going with one director for each. They shot Infinity War and Endgame together like it was one large movie. They used the same sets and the same actors across both films. How would this work if the movies are directed by two different directors and they release within 6 months of each other?!

Shang Chi was AMAZING…epic action and DDC nailed the mystical elements too. He will do great, can’t think of a better choice tbh

Grace, it was on the Phase 4 Graphic. BP 2 appeared later on the screen as Feige says "...and we will conclude phase 4 with BP Wakanda Forever."

A fantastic choice! I hope Coogler is doing Secret Wars.

To be fair Grace, the first Black Panther was also such a stand alone film and most people could consume the film even now without having to watch anything else. The movie is one of the most “complete” marvel films with a proper ending.

I would suggest the direct of Falcon/Captain America and Winter Soldier. She was a great Action Director!

Kevin Feige has clearly been listening to our complaints and he is making some great decisions lately. A lot of directors are worthy of this. DDC for Kang Dynasty and Ryan Coogler for Secret Wars would be sweet.

Let’s also see how Nia DaCosta handles The Marvels. That’s also a movie with several different superheroes interacting. If she does a good job like Destin Daniel Cretton did with Shabg-Chi she could very well get the job.

I'm very excited for Dustin Daniels. This is a big raise for him. Shang-Chi is arguably one of the best MCU movies to date, with top notch action. At the same, I'm little bumped that Shang-Chi 2 is going to be put on hold for a while after this announcement.

Could Secret Wars reintroduce the sidelined character, we all know and love, the "Hulk Smash" Hulk? I say yes!
As for Coogler, I think he is at his best when he can world build while telling a story. He would be outstanding for an XMEN related property.
