I want full accountability, I want the executives of these poorly run corporations to be stripped of their golden parachutes and anything that violates the law to be prosecuted. It is disgusting that people overlook worker abuse for entertainment. Lazy people need to treat worker welfare like it was their ass on the line.

Not only do I not like that more and more studios are being owned by fewer and fewer companies, I'm also worried about how many of them are being bought by Chinese companies. It's not like I have anything against Chinese companies owning market share in general, but the CCP has their hands in EVERYTHING over there and that's very concerning, especially in light of what's been going on in places like Taiwan. It's like if Russian corporations started buying up Paramount and Warner Brothers or Harper Collins and Random House.

I saw an article earlier today speculating that the new Konami game could likely be a new "Suikoden" game; the reasoning being that the game is apparently going to be revealed by mega-popular voice actor Yuki Kaji, who has previously voiced characters in multiple "Suikoden" games.

Companies acquiring companies scares me, and should scare everyone. Not just because less options I'd always worse for the customer, but I think there has been enough history to show what happens to the smaller companies. Rare was bought by Microsoft, produced trash afterwards. Visceral was bought by EA and made to produce one of the precursors to the insane monetization we have now, and then shuttered. It's not good.

While we are steadily heading towards an oligopoly in the gaming industry, I shall take refuge in my childhood nostalgia and hope that the Konami new release will be a Mystical Ninja game.

For Konami, I feel like, with the recent release of TMNT Cowabunga Collection and Shredder's Revenge before that, it might be hyping up another TMNT game. I could be totally off the mark though.

The fact that the customer is being reassured that Sony is still a Japanese company means that they are no longer a Japanese company and have abandoned their roots when it comes to catering to the Japanese demographic

Not to mention the ridiculous amounts of censorship and monitoring that not even Nintendo is doing

I just don't see it being a good thing in the long run for all these big companies buying out others, it just feels like we're gonna get screwed over, and no one will end up being held accountable for their toxic behaviors/actions.
