Here's the review of the Addiesdive AD2065. I've kind of reviewed this watch before, as I discussed it in a previous review of the Addiesdive AD2063. In that video, I called this watch its twin. I also said that I thought I preferred that one... But now that I've had hands-on experience with this one, have I changed my mind?

I bought this watch a few weeks ago and I have been very happy with it.The Addiesdive logo on the back and bracelet don't bother me at all.The 19mm band width is no problem I have put a lovely brown 18mm leather strap on it and you can't notice the difference. I recommend this watch. 👌

I purchased the silver version of the AD2065, the watch reviewed here, and think the watch is an excellent value. It's a dressy GADA watch that is priced at a point where I can actually do anything with it. Lume lasts all night. Furthermore, the quartz movement and mineral crystal lend themselves to greater reliability in truly stressed conditions. As for the 19mm lugs, I am a bracelet fan but would use an 18mm band or trim down a 20mm. With the 19mm lugs, the proportions of the case are good.

For anyone considering this or other similar Addies watches, I think the silver dial is dressier but the creme has better legibility. The second hand does not hit markers 100% of the time, but I will trade this off against the shorter battery life of the vh31 on non GMT models. I would prefer a simpler script on the name, but eventually one forgets about it.

Thanks for the great review. It’s a great watch for the price. There are several other brands with better specs but they are of course much more expensive. That lume was a pleasant surprise! Thanks again.

This looks very similar to the Tandorio that was on Just One More Watch. Looks far more expensive than it actually is. Great looking watch, and a great video.

OOooh ! Here we have that great rarity the quartz watch which has a secondhand that hits the markers!!!
I don't know why they did not just shorten the name to Addies (or Adive) for this piece.
I am probably in the minority but I would be happy with 3 random Chinese characters as the brand name on Aliexpress watches (even if it was saying, for example, "Knobhead").

Collecting for decades has granted me immunity from the 19mm dilemma. I have plenty. And mineral crystal has its own qualities that sapphire lacks. From extreme side angles on boxed, domed or top hat crystals it remains perfectly clear allowing better distortion. Sapphire gets milky from those angles. I have Rolex's with plastic crystals so there's that. I am slowly warming up to quartz movements. There was a time they represented everything that was going wrong with the watch industry.

Nice review mate! - good watch, did you get a chance to look at this Tandorio? "Premium 39MM NEW Grade 2 Titanium Diver 200m " - Brand is not on the watch... similar watch and titanium. I do like this watch too.

This brand is really selling me on the mecha-quartz movement. I've a couple of the "sand-dune" variants and must say that I've been surprised at their "look", compared to a regular mechanical watch. That aside, great videos. I really enjoy your channel.👍

Excellent review, the photography at the start was superb 👍. I much prefer this version and it is a superb watch for £56, the mineral glass doesn't bother me, but 19mm lugs are a complete deal breaker for me. I'm not a fan of bracelets, and I'm not starting to collect a fourth width of strap just for one watch.

Does the second hand hit the markets with precision?

kind of reminds me of an orient champagne colored sun and moon released several years back. that one is not a gmt though.

i love the engraving on the watch back of this addiesdive .

Good looking but I love automatic and sapphire, so I am willing to pay more to buy the Seestern GMT GS homage instead. 😊😊😂

Lug width makes it a no go. Been collecting for a little over thirty years and I learned early to avoid odd lug widths. Straps are much easier to find now but the selection is still limited.

Other than that it looks like a sold option. I’m not adverse to quartz and prefer it most of the time.

They really should remove those idiotic bits like "Deepseahunter" and "diver's". But they won't 🤷‍♂️

Initially, after subsequent maintenance, the quartz movement actually left the mechanical movement behind.🥸
