"successor to the nintendo switch" we don't actually know if it will be in the switch family or if it's a new console completely so the "switch 2" has not been announced. the way they stated that there would be a presentation for switch software but it won't include any info about the next console makes me think it will be outside of the switch family.

Everyone’s calling it the “switch 2” but most of the switches problems are in performance, and the idea and console itself is pretty perfect, and making it more complicated would be a downgrade. It’s probably something quite different to the switch.
