I think cobblemon is better because I like the design on the Pokémon better because they just fit into Minecraft so much better than pixelmon

One thing with Cobblemon that really makes it great to me is that, unlike Pixelmon, it’s all open source, and the community has created a lot of great side mods/datapacks to fill the gaps in a lot of areas. My personal favorite is the fight or flight mod, which allows pokemon to fight for you like mc dogs do, and some will also attack you in the wild. Even better is that they deal more damage to mobs/players as they level up, which creates a more solid minecraft related reason to actually work on training pokemon, and it blends really well with other mods in my modpack

Been greatly enjoying Cobblemon. The the models and especially the "basic-ness" of the mod is more fun to play with. I don't want gyms and all this crazy stuff. I don't want to play a Pokemon game in Minecraft. I just want a Pokemon friend to play Minecraft with.

While cobblemon looks better to some people, you're gonna get bored WAY quicker due to the lack of features. Pixelmon made you grind, not just pokemon levels but resources for your pokedex, cloning machine, fossil machine, healer, pc, souls for the legendary orbs, etc. There is always something to do, something to explore or advance in, yet cobblemon just has battles with movement & the ability for a player to kill a pokemon. I believe pixelmon to be more immersive, both in terms of how real the world feels but the smooth models as well, even the music fits the calming atmosphere. The inventory looks better in pixelmon as does the battle UI. I also like that you have to find a move learner as it is realistic to the pokemon games (excluding arceus).

Does cobblemon have size variations of the pokemon? For example some pidgey are bigger than others, while some are smaller.

I recently decided to check out Pokemon mods after not playing Java for a long time. I'm enjoying Pixelmon quite a bit, it really changes how the game feels, and Caves are a little too peaceful. I do agree Pixelmon does desperately need some more polish. The complete lack of any sounds in the battles is kinda off-putting, and I wish the battles would take place on another screen as trying to force them in the world creates jank. It's got a great foundation though as the mechanics do work very well at the foundational level. It could really use the polish though!

Cobblemon seems to have real potential. I do like Pixelmon having 3DS-esque models, which means texture packs don't stand out too bad, but I also like Cobblemon's Minecraftian look too. I do like Cobblemon's menus though. The battle system in Cobblemon feels even more incomplete with presentation and feedback. Great potential though and definitely gonna follow both projects until I inevitably develop a bias for one.

Oh can that mods do Fusion, Pokedex, Trade with npc, fighting another teams or gym, have a good polished 5d texture, have a different scale of pokemon?, how can that mods better with only have little different feature and sucks texture? Bruh its boring at the end, not like pixelmon always have something to do like : evolve pokemon, fighting npc, try to catch a LEGENDARY POKEMON, finding new generation pokemon, fusion pokemon and get the better pokemon... Or making a large laboratory....

pixelmon have the laziest devs in existence, why am i struggling to use features you provided yet you are adding pokemoncards????
