Stop calling the XR “budget friendly”
It’s $749 in the US (more in other countries)...and that’s definitely not budget

Nope, the iPhone XR is definitely not a “budget” phone, at least in Australia where it’s $1229.

“The Pixel 3a is a excellent phone for its price. The iPhone Xris horrible for its price.”

There you go, fixed it.

tbh this doesn't seem like a fair comparison given the price difference. the iphone is almost double the price...
and unless I've missed it we didn't get to hear about how the battery of both holds over the day... : /
Besides, at least for me, it's a big deal whether a phone has a headphone jack or not.
P.S.: I'm not an apple hater, I'm a mac user myself. Just feel like this video compared the 2 phones as if their price was he same, which is not.

Iphone Xr (64GB)
1029$ in Canada (without taxes)
Not a budget phone

Pixel 3A
549 or 649(XL)(without taxes)
Way more accessible in Canada

There clearly a difference between these price and specs just saying 🤔🤔🤔

The comparison is not fair in so many ways. It seems that the reviewer, from the outset, wanted to reach the conclusion that the iPhone is better, regardless of any positive points of the Pixel. Not an objective review. Damaging your image and reputation as a serious Tech reviewer.

It costs $1085 in India.. And you call it budget friendly?

The review seems biased against Pixel 3a. 1) he says the pixel 3a doesn’t have true stereo sound, and what he means is that it has 1 front facing speaker as well as 1 down firing speaker, so they are not both front facing... however he says the iPhone has stereo speakers, but it’s the same 1 front 1 bottom setup. So both phone have the same stereo setting, and they are equally “untrue” stereo. Also, he doesn’t mention that the PPI, or screen clarity, is considerably better on Pixel 3a. I have an iPhone and Pixel, and I’d recommend iPhone only for those stuck in Apple OS. U can trade in iPhone and buy Pixel 3a for $200, or less. Also, gamers should learn to higher android flagships or IPhone, but this phone has the best bang for buck ratio I’ve ever seen, going with $400-$250 trade, and a free $100 gift card... it’s almost $50 if you count the $100 gift card as money you “keep”.

XR Budget Friendly ... BS..talk about a biased review..

I currently have the 3aXL and I'd have to say people are really underestimating this phone. For those worrying about speed, it's barely noticeable during day to day use. I don't see people tracking how fast their apps open etc everyday. Games still play smooth as well.

Let's compare a $750 so called budget phone to a real mid-range device and then complain about it not being as good. A 800p LCD screen with a notch was picked over a 1080p OLED panel for being more immersive. 🤔

Sorry folks, your review sounds Apple-biased. I’m an Apple user but I admit the Pixel 3a’s camera is way better than the iPhone Xr. It’s not about preference, it’s about the quality of the picture. And to be fair, a 270-350 us dollars difference is substantial. With nearly double the price, I don’t see how the iPhone Xr provides better value than the Pixel 3a.

lool. funny review. just tossed $350 out the window. But yeah, the speakers are loud. Next time end with "both good devices, but it's up to what you need". purposefully lopsided review.

I think Google made some good choices here, and has better quality on the attributes that actually matter.

Google 3a:
Cheaper
Better screen
Larger screen
Better camera
Headphone jack

iPhone Xr
Faster processor
"Premium" case
Wireless charging
Smaller bezel

Really, the faster processor is the only feature of the Xr that is even slightly interesting. And even then, only if you are spending a lot of time in apps that feel slow on the 3a.

The pixel is nearly half the price so I think it’s not really a comparison. iPhone calling the XR a “budget” phone is just insane. With the trade in you can get the pixel 3a for $150 bucks and some gstore credit ($100 until this Friday). Google is almost giving these things away and they have one of the best mobile cameras on the market. The prices makes these phones apples and oranges since the Pixel 3 is the same cost as Apples “budget” phone and superior.

"haven't had enough time to see how the pixel 3a will perform"
Then why are you reviewing it now?!! wait until you get a feel for it.
