This was my husband’s Fire Station ♥️. He retired in 2019. He was the Engineer of Engine 42. I’m so Proud of him ♥️.

That is a freaking cool engine and tanker bay.  Its fast access to the main roads and overall just looks amazing

In most places a Truck and Ladder Company are the same thing. They do searches and ventilation. Engines put water on the fire, and run EMS. Squad or Rescue rigs are special units designed to deal with any incident that can happen. At a fire they are used as manpower rigs, they do anything from pulling hoselines to ventilation to searches.
