Is there a maximum length of cable the probe will work up to? I need to test a 100m cable.

Hey mister WILL YOU ANSWER ME? My question is, the short cable that came with it is straight through looking at the sequence of numbers 1 - 8. If you will make a Crossover and Roll Over the 1 - 8 sequence of numbers will not be in sequence it will be 36827 blah blah. I made my own cross and roll over. I have a simple cheap NETWORK CABLE TESTER it all pass because the lights light up so it means if the light lights up the cable is good. All numbers light up. But when I used this more expensive Noyafa NF-388 model is mine, Testing the roll over and crossover cable with this tester it said it failed but all of the numbers are showing. Can this Cable tester read a Croosover and roll over cable right or this only reads straight through cables?

Did shows which side (meter or remote) has pins reverse(crossover)?

My question is how well does it tolerate POE? Will it survive and incorrect connection? The Klein Scout Pro3 manual states that it will but will complain. I've seen similar models of this device state they will be damaged.

I used this device for years. version 6.1 of this device is better. the remote terminal beeps once you plug the cable. they removed this function from version 6.8.

Can you please post an update of how this device showed during exploitation. It looks like a very useful instrument.

Having used one of these I would say it's not bad, ideal if on a budget, gets the job done, more suited towards light use, personally I prefer the Fluke Networks Microscanner2.
