You did a really good job. I think this is probably how a lot of people used to make windows before the advent of all these fancy tools we see nowadays.
This is a nice solid window, probably outlast a lot of the windows made today. I have seen people buy double pane window, expensive ones, and they leak after a year or too. I just had a friend bemoan the fact that five years ago he put in Anderson gas filled windows and they leak.
I am a single woman farmer. 80, living off grid. Built everything on my property all by myself.
I put cheap aluminum windows in 25 years ago and wanted to tackle making replacements.
I like your idea…..never mind the nay sayers, probably city people.
Will be using 1/4” Lexan for the pane. Works really well in the desert, good insulation and works well for solar gain to heat the cabin up.

Як на мене, петлі виглядають дещо грубо. Це буде не так просто, але краще було приховати кріплення. Скоби на кутах виглядають як щось тимчасове та має бути прибране. З зовнішнього боку вони можуть іржавіти. Я б також додав отвори для відводу води, якщо це вікно буде встановлюватись на вулицю.

Hallo, wieso wird alles verübeln, verleimt, getackert und DANN in der diagonale ausgemessen ? Bin 64 NUR Hausfrau, vieles ist meiner Meinung nach überflüssig .Auch könnte man die holzdübel von innen setzen . Sorry mein Vater war Schreiner, aber der normale Menschenverstand sagt mir, wieso komplizierter machen wenn einfacher geht .Ansonsten gutes Video, allerdings wenn ich mir erst eine werkbank kaufen müßte um ein Fenster zu bauen, könnte ich direkt eins bestellen .
