We'll explore the out of place props that were used, including glasses without lenses, incorrect military ranks and medals, and even a tiger tank that was replaced with an American M7 tank. We'll also look at the continuity errors that can be spotted, such as the periodic table of elements that displays elements that weren't even discovered until after the war.

Additionally, we'll discuss the historical inaccuracies that can be found in the show, such as the references to Hitler's mistress, Eva Braun, whose association with Hitler was not revealed until after the war's end. We'll also examine how Carter's chemistry knowledge seems to be inconsistent throughout the series.

Really appreciate it and loved the comments. Would have been great to see the scenes they were referring to.

60's sitcoms were not renown for their historical accuracy or realism, they were purely for entertainment and laughs, that's why we loved them!

Your blunder is even more glaring as you referenced Schulz in the opening portion, regarding the eagles and swastica position. That was Klink!! Also often times during the show things were done intentionally to make the Germans out as buffoons!

This is my favorite show. I watch it everyday.

Are you implying Hogans Heroes is not an accurate portrayal of a WWII POW camp? I’m shocked.

Interesting video, although Rick Nineg covered a number of these bloopers on his channel.

Not showing the actual blooper or mistakes during the narration is lame.

Another blooper is in the trains.
That footage of the exploding train which had been used many times, is originally taken from a western.
The footage of the train passing by, was also used more than once. And the footage is reversed so the number of the train is backwards.
Also on the episode “Swing Shift”, the cars seen passing the Hauf Brau (if you freeze the frame and brighten the picture) are cars from the mid 1960s.

I have a blooper. It's on episode titled "The Missing Klink". In the very beginning, when they show the scene of the place where the brother is held captive. The parking lot for the German headquarters has a few German military trucks, but in the back ground you can see a parking lot with about a dozen modern cars from the 60's and early 70's.

You did not show any of your bloopers in the show. Unless they were mislabeled. Very poor video. Hogan’s Hero’s was one of my must see shows.

Haven't you figured out that this show was a made up "comedy" of the "theater of the bazaar" not a history lesson.

I watched this as a kid. But none of your video corresponds to the text. You are not showing images that back up your comments so its a complete waste.

In a couple of cities in Canada it's not uncommon to have green grass growing and patches of snow. Mind you it isn't that way everywhere. We had guys from St Louis Missouri helping with the project and they thought it was cold and it was only 20 below. If we had sent them to a place like Edmonton or Nipawin they would cry.

Shows like this needed to add a new title in their credits: Realism Adviser. You would make a superb candidate for that position.

the episode that unveiled the "GONKULATOR" had vacuum tubes on it that had not been invented

At 2:03 Hogan and Newkirk are standing in front of a Norwegian flag... doesn't that count, or didn't Facts Verse notice?
