you can compare as they are both cameras made for film. the fs700 is a nice camera but its huge compared to the 1DC which is its selling point and i would rather work with a full frame sensor than a super 35mm.

yh the Canon 1dc is a pro film/video camera that will cost around £15000 so if it didnt come with high fps rate i would be annoyed. you may be getting confused with the 1dx which is a photography camera. (and i have looked and its 120fps @1080 not 240 my mistake)

Dunno what you have looked at mate but the maximum Frame rate is 60 FPS @1080P and 24 FPS @ 4K.

This was in photo mode not film. the 1D-c does 240fps @1080p

yh okay my mistake was looking at the c500, but what sony are you looking at as 4k is the main feature on this camera?

Can't really compare the 1DC to the C series... it's not a Super 35mm sensor.
