I remember when wired earbuds came in. The 1st time I saw someone walking in the city with no phone out but talking a mile a minute, I thought they were psycho & crossed to other side of street.

I just love this guy. Funny, adorable, crazy about his yarn. I like the way he explains so much about crocheting. I wish I could do more, being left hand sometimes makes it difficult. Maybe not for most, me.. yes. THE POWER OF YARN...WWWWOOOO

In the 80's I had a newer candlestick phone in my basement. The phone rang. It was a telemarketer speaking excsessively loud. I put the earpiece to the mouthpiece and kept it open just enough to hear when she finished her speil. Her voice sounded like she was confused, like she was asking a question, though she was making statements. When she paused, I said, "No thank you" and hung up. She had a dose of her own medicine.
