Giant Bag of Cocaine Tossed Into Incinerator

Peruvian president Pedro Castillo recently tossed a giant bag of cocaine into an incinerator in Lima. The photo op was meant to show off the more than 16 tons of illegal narcotics seized in Peru since December. The drug trade is a burning issue for Peru. According to the US Drug Enforcement Agency and the United Nations, Peru is the world’s second largest producer of cocaine. It’s also the second largest grower of coca leaves.

As a former Marine, I did jungle training for 30 days in Panama. While on patrol, we saw ahead of use, some officials in uniform standing around a big fire and lots of smoke. As we got closer, we all recognized the smell. They were burning Marijuana. And the platoon commander all of a sudden, yelled, gas. And of course, some people were slow to put on their mask. 😎✌

This is done every week in Ohio. A company called vonroll WTI. ATF and federal agents bring truckloads of drugs to incinerate. Armed guards watch as they burn coke, pot, pills, Chrystal meth and drugs I’ve never heard of in 55 gal drums. It’s truly disturbing the amount that’s incinerated.
