We try to save half my income - but I am a teacher. I started at 27k.. now up to 73k after two years of intense pushes to get to MA+80. I am now tied to a 1.84% increase per year in salary. That 73k becomes 48k after taxes and mandatory pension contribution. No social security here. Living on 24k in Massachusetts is pretty impossible. I have a couple small side hustles - coaching, clubs, and some online sales that amounts to 4-5k a year. I invest 100% of that as well. This was the first year I saw traction in my accounts. Our NW increased more than my salary.

Great advice, great video! People try to make it so complicated and it really isn't... it takes discipline and a little education but it isn't complicated. Sounds like you've done great over the last four years, congratulations on that! I need to set a video goal for next year, I started my channel about 5 months ago and I'm struggling to find consistency. Keep on keeping on!

I liked #3....in fact, I was thinking today that keeping my headspace clean was essential to great financial health. I don't make the best decisions when I'm spiraling into depression. I would love to hear from those “early retirees” who are now in their 70’sand 80’s. Was the equivalent of $1M enough when they retired early? How did the last 20-30 years go in reality not in theory.
