Märklin Re 460 (39461/39462/39463) - Unboxing and Review

We review the new Re 460 in 2020 refit edition from Märklin. Article number 39461, and similar models 39462, 39463. This is a new construction has it has now all axes driven, compared to two axes before.
The locomotive has 30 functions.

Very cool video :) I’m about to buy the Trix version and your review convinced me! I already own 2 other version of this locomotive from Roco and I’ll be curious on how they compare to each other.

I also have problems with my Roco IC2000 carriages derailing alot, and I am using them on the c track radius 5. Have tried towor three types of couplings, like the regular common european type and of course the Roco's own coupling.

Is the center pickup normal these days? I don't like the look of the middle contacts between the tracks. Is this something unique to this brand?

Hi! I’m considering Marklin Re460 but this model is already not in stock :( because of this i’m going to wait for re-release product. I couldn’t find Pininfarina rogo printed on the train nearby boggie. But this point is marked on Roco’s Re460. Pininfarina rogo is not marked on Marklin Re460? And how do you think about this sound quality comparison with ZIMO or ESU? Thx!

hello, nice review. i like the swiss colorsceme a lot more than the norwegian one, almost looks like a different lokomotive. why is there so much gap between your cars? i assume the wagons are from roco, so why not use the roco "kurzkupplung". works for me with all of my ls, acme and piko models. or are they live (stromführend)?
an other question: are you able to get all lights/sounds with the esu ecos? on theyr website it is stated that you have "only" 8 functions for märklin motorola format, a friend of mine told me he has 24 functions. so which is it?
