why doesn't the Ab6/9 contain the 3rd? is that still a 6/9 chord?

I’m curious, is the Ab6/9 not a Db6add9/Ab,
and is it not a Eb9/Bb instead of a Bbm6? I usually play an Ab13 instead of the Am6, but I quite like the way the Am6 sounds!

Of course, with inversions maybe these chords could all be named differently. I feel like the more I understand about chords and voicing, the less I know!
