The pin sizes are set up for this to work.
A buddy worked at a locksmith company, I had him key my truck lock, so it opened with an uncut key blank.
That's pretty much what was done here to this lock in the video.

I got one of this together with a lock picking set. You can open it literally buy rotating the core with anything, even just a tension tool.
