Historical Super Heavy Full Stack Time Lapse

Показать описание
02/09/2022 SpaceX successfully stacks Starship 20 on Booster 4 using the Orbital Launch Integration Tower. S20 was rolled into position on 02/08/2022. The following day the catch/lift arms were put into action. The article was lifted and rotated into place just before lowering it and securing it by what seems to be radio communication as no humans were in sight. The entire stacking event lasted the entire day with the majority of the activity happening after dark. This event marks a moment in history in which the world's largest and most power rocket has been stacked by the world's largest robotic tower.

A big feat for spacex! It's not always that you see a company making a giant robotic arm tower to stack their massive rockets!

And again, the time-lapse magic shows evolutions that ar much harder to catch in real time. I'll go back to watch this historical stack again.

Wow the stabilizer really moved the booster a lot when it reengaged itself. I wonder where all that play came from if the base was secured. Did the booster bow that much?

Anyone else get a kick out of the elevator going up and down every couple seconds? lol

Been around this for a while but, I'm stumped! Are they having to keep the stack fully fueled so it doesn't collapse under the weight?

It's terrifying to see the arms moving so close to the heat shields.
Do the arms have to come that close?

долгое, но потрясающее центрирование 🚀

If you watch it like this and think about how fast it will be in the end, I would say the fastest would be average elevator speed, so it is still comfortable for people ...asuming that they would board before stacking. But I guess there will be a third boarding arm in future set ups

Sorry, what sci fi film is this from? It can’t be real, surely. 🙂

Imagine the embarrassment if the design of the chopsticks had made it impossible for the lift to pass them! 😳🤣

First time I've noticed S20 doesn't have legs, everything to save mass lol.
