Please start asking about benefits too! Some companies cover full benefits and that makes the lower hourly worth it! ALSO a big one for truckers is whether or not they have driver facing cameras! This is hugely important to those who already drive when it comes to making a company PLEASE!

Dont forget these guys drive semi trucks to deliver in smallest/busiest gas stations around town. Their driving skill is way better than semi truck drivers on the freeway.

I delivered to a beer distribution center in Sylmar, CA. These type of workers eventually end up with Hip or back problems from all the hand unloading and stacking of cases. The forklift driver in Sylmar (he looked to be in his 50s) was talking to his regulars about how he got back from his hip replacement surgery. Just keep that in mind you can't do this work 20 years without wearing your body out.
Coca Cola San Diego is UNION, not sure Pepsi on Caballero street up in Buena Park (the trucks have Splash-inc on the decals).

The program he's referring to is 'warehouse to wheels'. It's fairly new and it's a great program that rewards hard workers with a better job

This is labor intensive job. Average day you will deliver 750 cases ranging from 20 to 50 lbs per case. Unload from the truck, push and stack on shelves or coolers. Deal with all kind of human garbage, there are some nice ones. And the pay is 45 cents per case for upto 12 hours of work day. It's a shity job trust me

Yo I really appreciate you going and getting the basic info about these jobs. A lot of these are jobs that I’ve considered in the back of my head but I never knew what to look up to be able to apply to them

Pay is different in different places, some are union some are not, Burnsville, Minnesota is union starts at 27.90 and pays commission on cases sold, while Savannah Georgia pays 24.90 no commission and isn’t a union branch ..i interviewed at both ended up choosing cold 🥶 Minnesota where drivers average minimum 80k
