40g cornflour
4 egg yolks
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter

icing ingredients:
1 1/2 cup icing sugar
3 tbsp water

chocolate icing:
3 tbsp icing sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp water

I think.. Mix all the ingredients together in the pot.. Then put it on the stove on heat and stir till it gets thick

Do you need that much puff pastry, or can I just have smaller puff pastry bites when I have it in the oven? Like 5 bites of pastry instead of an entire sheet?

Could do with clear instructions to place on hob.. otherwise it looks like you simply whisked it till thick without putting over heat

I’m pretty sure you meant cornstarch because corn flour doesn’t not create the same consistency at all

Funny you mention and illustrate how to cut it, there’s a similar (looking thumbnail) mille feuille recipe and it’s a real struggle for the baker to cut 😂
