Thank you for putting in the extra work to make these videos every time a big patch drops, compiling all the important information into one video and releasing it a good bit before maintenance. Personally, seeing the extra rewards from Brel completion makes it so much easier to plan my group's raids this week, knowing we will not have to run 6 brels so everyone can push their Souleater as fast as possible.

Really shows that Henry knows the game with how he shares information in these videos. Little info tidbits here and there to point out stuff that some people might miss on their own is great.

(also, I know someone that randomly got Henry's Slayer in a Sonavel - and Henry pumped damage)

The game has been moving in a good direction for sometime now.
Still, to make it much better, and actually see people do stuff in the world instead of having Claudia's grave be the most lively place in the game (in no particular order):

1. Remove Pheons, or make accessories rooster bound. There is 0 reason for the second to not be in the game.

2. Add actual good rewards to islands, especially non-adventure islands that nobody does nowadays. How about a good chunk of mats up to 3 times a day from each island like Spida, Death's Hold, etc. Depending in tier on the ilvl of the character you do the island with. Another thing to be considered is scaling island goals with the number of participants - it won't be very fun to do Spida in 30 seconds with a lot of people, just like it's not very fun to barely do it with 5 seconds left with 3ppl.

3. Add hidden pity timers to some rewards like maps from islands (doing Lullaby 90+ times is not fun) even if you have other rewards than 1k silver and a bamboo stick. Opening the end ocean co-op chest 100+ times to get 0 maps (when you have 1 or 2 left to farm) is also not fun.

4. Make Field Bosses more relevant with better rewards - nobody is doing anything else than Israfel atm, and that is bad when you have bosses like Hermut that are impossible to kill by one person who wants to complete his Adventure tome for example.

5. Remove honing past levels which make honing realistically nonsensical and a waste of materials e.g Relic item past +15/16 where your success chance is 1-3% and the pity timer needs 100 juiced attempts to get to 100%. Think of a way to make the honing system better in general - like adding items that massively increase the success rate but are very rare or rewards from other progression systems. An RNG difference between 1tapping and pity timing a weapon should not be weeks worth of grinding - make this gap way smaller with less RNG!

6. Restructure the gem system. Make it a bit easier to get to lv7 gems, while keeping lv10 as the goal for players to strive to. Adjusting % increase of damage/cdr or lv1 gems needed here will be a good change. Also even with all that it's bit absurd to expect a person to farm 20k gems lv1 in order to get a single lv10 gem. If you don't agree, try to get 6 characters (or more) with full lv10 gem sets and tell me how it goes... Giving high level gems with the last Mokoko Express already threw any sliver of perceived balance out the window, so why not go all out and do a full overhaul of the entire system?

7. Abyssal dungeons? More like nobody is doing them dungeons. Card runs are the only thing keeping this content alive when in the start of the game it was one of the most fun to do. What changed? Nobody has the incentive to do them or feels challenged by them. Yes, wipe mechanics were somehow annoying and were mostly removed, but 1 shoting the content inside with a 1600 character and receiving starting game items is absurd. Don't get me started on people that actually want or need to do Gate of Paradise...

8. Better way to learn legion raids for people that are a bit slow in understanding mechanics. There are more than enough tutorials online anyway, so why not make them a part of the game in an interesting and engaging way - even add a badge next to a person's name when queuing for the actual legion raids which shows they have completed the tutorial with that character - this will effectively remove a lot of the gatekeeping around legion content.

9. World Tree Leaves is an obsolete system, as both the grind for it and most of the rewards do not provide a sense for accomplishment.

10. Change the cooking even more. There are a few ingredients that are just not fun to farm or too RNG based. Buying 7000+ wines to get the Bloody Fist for example is.not.fun. Same goes for farming oysters for 6 hours in SV or doing the Yorn Una a 93 times.

11. Tweak some achievements. Realistically nobody needs an achievement that requires you to ride the waves in Punika on a surfboard 10, 000 times... TEN THOUSAND TIMES... and it doesn't even give a title! There are some very fun achievements to get, but these needlessly grindy ones are definitely not part of the bunch.

12. Battle Item Storage!

13. Engraving sets for new players/characters (like the ones from the express events) to ease up new players and new alts.

14. Possibly move to UE5, not necessarily for the better graphics but more so for quicker loading times. The game shouldn't take 2min to load on the fastest processor and M.2 on the market and 3-4 minutes on a mid-class last gen CPU and M.2. Cyberpunk2077 loads 3 times faster for me than LA which is insane when you think about it. People don't have 5minutes to wait on a game launch every time. UE5 will also speed development speed in the long run.

15. Introduce a mini-game or mini-games when faceting stones. Make it more about skill and less about RNG. The games can be hard for actual top stone results like 9-5+ but still... just reduce the RNG.


A lot of the changes I mentioned are aimed towards completionism, but you should consider those players as the ones that keep the game running in the long run. Having something to do other than 5-6 legion raids is needed unless you want a seemingly dead game with an elitist top-tier player base that gatekeeps everyone else from doing the latest content.

This comes from a guy that has done everything there is to do in the game, has 100% or close to 100% of all collectables, a looot of achievements, and has played even before the western release.

The game has improved a lot, i quited for some time, and when i got back, the game seems to be progressing in the right way
