Great video! I did a similar one, but with legs...wish I had seen this first and done it like a shelf - I had staggered the legs on mine so that my kitty could still sneak behind the sofa!

I like the idea with the magnet 🧲 for the side cover panel

Wonderful idea! Very cool. I can see potentially adding some decorative storage, narrow side access shelves to make it more functional. Thanks for sharing 👍

This is a really neat idea however some things I would have done: integrate wireless charge pads along the shelf, way cleaner. As someone else said some recessed cup holders. Either way great easy project and something I'm going to do as well.

Great idea. I've seen a handful of videos of diy behind the couch "table" but this one is different in the way that you just directly screwed it to the wall. I'm not a fan of that for my walls and as some ppl have already mentioned the wireless charging would definitely be a must for us. And lastly, almost 1 Benji, Jul at a couple of dollars shy of $100, for the pop-up outlet???!! Definitely a heck no for me. Way more cheaper options on Amazon. Other than that, really loved the feather finish thing. Totally different

nice idea to use magnets. haven't seen that be used before in that way. :)

Nice shelf and instruction. Over time I'd be concerned about the sofa rubbing on the shelf edge and damaging the fabric. One could put boards on the floor to butt up against the sofa feet and the wall or some type of "padding" on the face of the shelf so the fabric isn't directly touching the shelf.

I noticed that you didn't show the wiring connection between the popup outlet with the main outlet. Does it connect through a plugpoint, or do you need to make a rewiring through the wall outlet?

I’ve always heard they were called chip brushes because they were originally meant to be used to brush away metal chips when machining.

Seam tape? Can you link that as well. Is there seam tape for wood? I’m pretty new at this so forgive my ignorance 😊🙃

Do you have links to the stabilizer items used for the lazer level? Not sure if my box of matches is the correct size...😆

Did you make or buy that popup outlet thing?

Brent you're looking scrumptious as ever. Great video. Still wanna know what kind of jeans those are. You should have an affiliate link to them. Lol Keep up the great work.

Chip brushes are cheap, ratty brushes we use in machining to sweep metal shavings, or chips, off the machine components so they don't get into any moving parts.
