A lot of people live in apartment buildings without access to home charging. I think 5-minute charging would be great for those people.

The biggest reason to want faster charging is less waiting on others. I know that the USA doesn't have a lot of EVs. But in Europe if you are going on a summer vacation, you will be waiting at the charger in a queue and so charging will take close to an hour

Most EV owners charge up overnight at home. But this super fast charge capability will help grow the EV market, as long as it doesn't affect battery life, and gets past Chinese tariffs into the U.S.

How many chargers will be 1, 000 volts. That would be hard on the GRID.

Five minute charging might ve what the car is capable of, but the charging infrastructure will rarely be capable of delivering that.

Exactly. I need 10 minutes for a bathroom stop. Maybe charge less for slower power?

I don't got 15 minutes to stop and charge my car if I need to get to work when I'm late tho. Just sayin

Many chargers use diesel generators. Diesel. So you can "do your part" for "climate change"
