Quid Somne, cessas? en iterum dies
Lucescit ingens, en volucris vigil
Somno excitatos et vigentes
Carmine mirifico salutat.

Quid, dure, vexas me stolidis, puer,
Nugis? remitte et tegmine prospero
Appare et amplexare lassam
Dum licet: exiguum est relictum.

Insomnis aether duxerat albulam
Atris fugatis in mare nubibus
Stellam renidentem beatis,
Vicerat et leviore pugna

Aurora noctem. num iuvat, immemor,

I wander why in any spoken Latin origin langues is VENI not UENI.

I think actual pronunciation is somehow strange, at least.
In none of the Latin origin langues is there a such pronunciation, so artificial so Cesarian (?).
There are some songs in Latin on yt and they sound very natural, not at all synthetic.
Also I think it will be more appealing to tackle some of the Latin sentences that stud the time because they are irreplaceable.
Et in Arcadia ego (I have an English speller checker and it knows that sentence in Latin).
