How to make your iPhone to read to you

Did you know that you can have your iPhone read Kindle books out loud to you?

In the above video, I'm going to show you the step-by-step process I use to get my iPhone to read out loud to me.

Here are the steps
1. Click settings
2. Click general
3. Click accessibility
4. Click voiceover
5. Click voiceover on
6. Click home button
7. Double click kindle app
8. Swipe two fingers down to begin reading

You don’t need a commercial advertising a video that the viewer is already watching.
Also, the viewer is not interested in what books you read or why you read them.

All the viewer wants is learn how to turn the feature on. Your video makes us wait 1:30 before getting to why we clicked in the first place.

SPEAK SCREEN will also read stories directly from the internet or books in iBooks. Both of these you don’t need to have the app open. Kindle app needs to stay open to continue reading past the end of that page.

You mentioned the Swift app. I could not find it in the App Store. Is it still available?

I hate to admit it, but Alexa reads a entire kindle book on your iPhone or iPad in a much more human-esque voice
Speechify is a little quirky but will read PDFs w very human-like voices incl Obama, Snoop Dog, & Ms Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow

Thx love kindle but love audio more! I play Books while I sleep! I thought I would have to buy an expensive app. I don't care what the voice sounds like as long as the info gets in my Brain ! Fran

Hmmm . .  You actually go to settings, general, accessibility, Speech, then turn on Speak Screen.
It doesn't work if you turn on voice over.

I failed to move audible app to home screen. Now phone is locked and won’t accept my pass code?? And I cannot get in

Apple nerfed it.
You have to manually turn each page to get it to keep reading.
