Was kind of hoping that you'd pick it so you could review the tolerances...
Absolutely beautiful. Looks like they expect you to rekey the cylinder from the top since there is no follower or clip remover and for a beginner, that's just fine.
The only downside to cutaway and transparent locks is learning to close your eyes and go by feel. Once you do that, these are amazing learning tools (as long as you don't lose all the springs - lol).

Great video and recommendation, thanks Ash.
However, i think it is worth mentioning that this little lock is not your standard 'bad' practise lock: This thing looks so innocent, but it puts up quite a fight and in my opinion is not suitable for beginners. Somewhat more advanced pickers will appreciate it though. This not only goes for the pinning it comes with: The tolerances in this thing are awesome and the keyway will give you a bit of a headache all by itself, esp. if you were used to other practice/cutaway locks. With the tolerances in there you find yourself walking pins up by thousands of an inch over and over again, while having to play with your tension. If you have the basics of lockpicking down, this thing will teach you *a lot*. If, on the other hand, you were a beginner, it will frustrate the living hell out of you, even if you pinned it up with all standard...
That being said: Well worth having and while not exactly cheap, it is well worth the money.

Looks amazing! Like the look of everything in this kit, the tweezers really caught my eye. Definitely on my wish list.

This is very tempting. I have cutaways and training locks at various levels of quality, but none that are quite as comprehensive as this. If I were to buy this though, it would probably be to get the 2-part pins. I'm nowhere near competent enough to take advantage of these yet and may never reach that stage, but.. argh.. temptations!

I love this bit of kit, the only issue I had with it is if you wish to just do standard pins for a first run it doesn't contain enough to have all chambers full.

A beautiful lock that isn't just eye candy. Although, in and of itself, very very well done. Your review is spot on.

I’ve thought about purchasing, don’t see many Euro cylinders in the US. Great review looks even better than on Multipick’s website.

Absolutely stunning kit, looks so well made and thought through! As for picking and gutting a lock on a boat... there’s only one person who springs to mind, Ting Tong could most definitely do with some spare parts if he were to have this 😂

Great review, and again, an awesome kit for beginners and more experienced pickers alike! 😁🥚

Of all the training locks out there, this is the most beautiful! 👍

Bought the kit. Haven't been able to get it open, even after removing the last pin and replacing the 4th with a standard, the keyway is really tricky, at least for my skills.

Wow, that is a really great kit! Lots of greatness in that box.

Mine will arrive tomorrow with the dual gauge pick set from multipick! I've started lockpicking with a Chinese (horrible) kit with some acrylic locks and I managed to open also 3/4 locks which I bought in a shop. But the picks are so poor they keep bending. And the tensioners are just lame. I'm in Italy and I would like to learn to pick also my door lock someday (turns out it's a pretty difficult GeGe brand). So I really hope this kit being European and paracentric will help me out learning our kind of locks. Let's hope it'll provide me with a nice learning setup, as I'm pretty sure it will after watching this review (and the one for the dual gauge kit)! 😉

Thanks for the review which got me to order one and seeing I have Birthday and Christmas all in the same month I treat myself to an Increment pro lock pick set to go with it. So 2020 looks good on the hobby side of life!

Beautiful cutaway lock, all shiny and polish. I know these BKS and are not easy to pick at all, the keyway is more complicated that it seems, I´m not sure that is a keyway for beginners, but the quality of the lock is far of any doubt. In my experience, the cutaways have a different feeling than the integral locks, I don´t like them to learn to pick but never try a cutaway made from a quality lock like that.
Very cool review video my friend, thanks for showing ;o))

Fantastic looking Euro lock! At that price point, some serrated key pins would be nice, but, otherwise looks great - super premium 👍

Lovely piece of kit there, I could spend weeks trying out all the different combinations of pins. :-)
