My mother made me cut my hair because i had talked back to her because i told her i didnt want to do swim team anymore and her reply was, "Youre not responsible for long hair!"
How this made sense i will NEVER know. I had only ever worn my hair in one long braid because thats the only style i was allowed to go out in cause of how long my hair was. It used to go to my the back of my knees. I love her, but i still resent her to this day for that forced decision. She forced me during the summer before going into Junior High( so i was 13) to cut if from the back of my knees to the bottom of my ears and i have curly hair so my hair curled up to the top of my ears. It looked HORRIBLE! I basically looked like a boy in girl clothes for my school picture day and she didnt even help me try to style it or anything. I didnt know what to do with so little hair! Im now 25 and ive been growing my hair out, getting it trimmed regularly, using hair care products and its barely, JUST BARELY getting long enough to reach past my shoulder blades with natural curls, not straightening. You see thay look of saddness on her face, she will NEVER forget this moment. Dont be like my mom and pretend you have no idea what she's talkong about or that you dont remeber this day when she calls you out for it in the future. You're a horrible mother.

My mom does this to me too.... my dad and my mom hates my bangs "cuz they are in the way" and because they think just bcuz I have bangs I want to be like stylish at school. Idk how that made sense. They always cut my bangs. The wolfcut rrly suited me but they cut that to. Its only bcu of my 7yo sis started saying that "look sister is being stylish again" and they literally believe my sister.
