Mercedes-Benz O305 - Departing from Bus Stop (Transperth Rail Replacement)

The double deck version of O305 buses in Hong Kong (Kowloon Motor Bus) and Singapore (by Singapore Bus Services, now SBS Transit) have long been scrapped. However, O305s in Perth are still going strong today. Many private operators own a second-hand fleet of single-deck O305s for bus charters, and in this video is deployed for a rail replacement service.

This particular bus is powered by the 200hp OM407.911 engine and fitted with the original Mercedes-Benz W3D 080R transmission (3-speed automatic). The sound recording is as close as the Singaporean versions you can get today.
