Have this beast for 2 weeks now. multimediamonster. great sound, great screen, great camera, great battery, great headphonejack, its my favorite 2 date!

Have the 20x and it's great! Camera is incredible. Great macro mode. 1 tip I have is use the clear gel case that comes with the phone and fit a finger strap or ring; I can happily use it 1 handed when required. Obviously 2 hands are best though and to be honest most phones over 5.5" need 2 hands.
Great phone though, once you get used to the size; everything else feels too small now.

I've had it for more than 6 months now. Still a great phone. No crashes yet. No slow downs. I noticed the battery wearing a bit but overall its still a great large phone.

I took a risk, and it was the best purchase I've ever made on a smartphone.
I got used to the size in minutes, and today I don't see myself with anything smaller than this 20x matte.
he is good at everything, and the battery is something fantastic in this model.
even in 2023, I would buy another one because it is so good
It's been 4 years, no problems, and I can always count on him when I need it.
I also have to say, that in a car.
having that screen to use maps is phenomenal.

Very informative and smooth video! I also like your music which is very soothing and relaxing! Yeah I just got this phone last week and have been loving it. I also love the flat screen as I was coming from the Note 9 with the curved screen, which I feel distorts the content a little bit so I am feeling this panel. I think you covered it all but I am loving the 7.2 inch screen, awesome battery life, the fact it has a 3.5 mm headphone jack(not sure why everyone is taking this away), and the expandable memory(although I would have preferred the standard micro-sd card and not Huawei's nano memory card which is a lot more expensive). The negatives such as not having a QHD screen, lacking IP68 water resistance, no wireless charging are bummers but not deal breakers to me. Hopefully these features can be added to a successor to this phone in the future. And for me, the size is managable and I just love it for watching movies and YouTube content. So far the cameras have been great and I am still playing around with all the modes to see how I can get the best result. Anyway good job and I look forward to your future videos!

It's hard to upgrade after you have this beast. It's been 2 years. It's the complete package, great speakers, screen display, speed, camera, battery size is perfect after you use it for a week. It sucks that huawei probably won't make a successor. I'm satisfied but you always want the next Gen aka updated version.

I have a Mate 20X 256Gb Chinese edition with a 128 Gb nanocard. Oh boy, it just runs fine and jolly with 2100 apps installed on it. Plus 10000 songs and 9000 pictures. Still plenty of room. Love the phone. Still outperform Mate 30 (size) or P30 pro (nice flat screen, small notch)

I just got the Mate 20 (not pro) for £250 and it's awesome, I had the X before, this is the same basically with a manageable screen size and no OLED screen, but still very bright and punchy colours. Awesome phone easy to recommend indeed.

Does the S10e last longer than the s8? I'm also choosing between s10e and mate 20x, the ip rating is kinda useful for rain when riding. Is the splash proofing of the 20x sufficient for that? I need to charge the s8 middle of the day or just use the redmi 4 prime for stuff while only using the s8 when i go out.

anyone wondering about the 5G edition. It's quite a downgrade from the 4G version


5G Edition removes Headphone jack, top speaker, and lower battery down to 4200mAh from 5000mAh on the 4G.


But then that's the only legit, standalone 5G phone. Where as no other phone can do standalone 5G

I was planning to buy the Honor 20 Pro coming from an Honor 8 since I thought the processing would finally be somewhat similar to Huawei's, but it's just horrible (night photos). I too love the way Huawei processes its photos. Gonna get a Mate 30/30 Pro! Great review btw :D
