Aaravos Confesses The Full Truth To Claudia

I love how They no longer have the Puppet and puppet master dynamic but Are Truthful to each other and Are more like a Father and daughter dynamic

One of my favorite scenes of the season. So interesting to see Aaravos averting his gaze and looking genuinely nervous when he confesses that he doesn't think Viren is in the In-Between. He initially suggested it might be "possible" so that she would keep following him, but now he knows that if he tells her this, he has nothing else to offer her to make her stay. And like... you can see he's truly not sure if she will and that bothers him.

Claudia grew up with Viren as a father, which means she learned by his example that the ends justify the means and that the strong will do whatever is necessary to achieve their goals. She's not even mad at Aaravos for using her, but she wants his honesty. And I think the reason she continues helping him is both because she sympathizes with his emotional burden and because she's desperately looking to fill a void, to have a connection. I've definitely seen people dissatisfied with her character this season, but I think it's rather interesting. I'll be really sad if we don't ultimately get to see where she goes from here though.

Aaravos I bet the reason why he's telling the truth is because he cannot bare to up hold the WHOLE TRUTH from a daughter that reminds him so much of Leola.

I think Aravoss genuinely does think of Claudia as a daughter, I thought that he was just using her at first and would get rid of her once he got what he wanted like viren, but I see it he truly sees Leola in her

That fact the in the last ep ( I think) Aaravos says to Claudia I will not watch another daughter die” made my heart cry BRO HE SEES HER AS A DAUGHTER 😭😭

Claudia is a real villain.

She knows what she is doing, agency to act and choose, and intelligence to see the consequences.

Then ... she continue with this madness bringing to world destruction

She is a real villain. Her father was fundamentally a stupid manipulated by his own racism and emotions, she instead understands her situation very well.

She is probably more evil than Aavaros at this point. She is choosing him, she is not manipulated by him. She is full responsible about all the evil things will happen.

It is hard to believe that Viren doesn't have unfinished business. What about making amends with his ex-wife?

yeahhh....everyone remembering this scene should cross refrence it with his backstory regarding the death of his daughter. i dunno if they will ever do the thiid arc..maybe it'll get relegated to a comic book..that's a popular move these days....but something tells me the heart-rending story of the death of his daughter wasn't the entire truth either. then again, i also suspect the OTHER star touched elves are perfectly aware of what is going on and letting things play out anyhow...quite possibly in either unconcious or even deliberate imitation of Dracula in castlevania, whose actions in the first two seasons were, as his son put it, "the world's longest S***ide note" This is not a new concept in fiction. Kurt Vonneghut wrote in Slaughterhouse Five of the Tralfamadorians..an alien race who experience time in a nonlinear fashion. They know how the universe is going to end. THEY are the ones who end it when testing a new form of FTL propulsion that goes epicly wrong. They don't care, becasue they are so alien form casue and effect it dothe future doens't MATTER to them...they are the embodiment of "que sera, sera" Doctor Manhatten from Alan Moore's Watchmen is another example. I suspect the suggestion that the other Star Touched could execute Aaravos as well was a half-hearted attempt at averting a future they KNEW would happen...one that leads to thier own destruction.

Could you imagine Aaravos and Greek Kratos working together!? Cuz Kratos would've tear those Cosmic bastards to Shreds, like he does with the Greeks. But which will soon become a disaster for their world
