And in many cases the Catholic schools in the Celtic lands are nothing to envy, in the past . I am saying this as a Celtic Catholic . She showed the world that she has dignity . She is a great woman. Susan Boyle is an example of inner strength after having suffered severe bullying she suffered, a poor medical diagnosis that is typical of a lot of doctors who only studied for a degree, and the problems of being famous. I cannot extend my greatest admiration for a person who has fought all her life for a society that is increasingly abusive, violent, and full of hatred towards those who are different in any aspect. Susan is and will always be a role model of strength, determination, and inspiration to people who suffer due to medical problems or their physical appearance.

I can so relate! Bullying recipient, here. Started in grade school; continued, unrelentingly. Being ostracized; physically beaten; having things stolen; constant humiliation by boys and girls, alike. Even some teachers 😢 And the “adults” did nothing. It changed the course of my life profoundly.

She is remarkable! Bullied even after her fame is horrible....Bullying continues because of the immorality of our culture. Some people are so jealous of amazing talent and the tenacity of some people to work through their difficulties. Having worked in the mental health field I know of the difficulties a person with disabilities face. Hopefully Susan gets the help she deserves to continue her career.
