Actually the betting markets have correctly predicted the last 9 elections, and the exception of 2020. Polls haven’t been that accurate.

Not sure about the US, but bookmakers have been as accurate if not more so in UK elections - and the Brexit and Scottish secession referendums - than pollsters for about 30 years now.
