People need to stop crying about not getting the version from Ultra! That version was unfinished!! Heck even alesso officially stated that it was unfinished!!!! I will agree these new vocals aren’t great but unfortunately we won’t get the ultra version and we have to accept that

I think the original version was so much better with all its power and emotion, but they must've liked this pitched up version instead. It's not awful, but the drop just seems hollow and weak. Shaun's voice definitely fit the original well, but it sounded a bit strange and unnatural when pitched up, so I get the vocalist change.

Both versions never drove me crazy luckily (still sad about dreamer by Awell /\ Ingrosso 😂). Drops are a bit weak for my tastes. I have to admit it would be an amazing pop/acoustic song (in this case, Shaun's vocal would be perfect) but as an edm progressive track... It reminds me a bit of 'No Sleep' for example (Impulse bootleg is amazing). I'm afraid they rushed it before ultra and they ended up with a track with so much potential that the fans love but they're/he's not 100% sure about. And there it is: the higher pitch and the vocals changing. Onestly don't know what I would choose at this point.

Hopefully that this is just a version that'll be played by Alesso; and if that's the case, then looks like Alesso wanted to play it on the higher key and Shaun's voice might not have been suited for it, so he changed the vocalist entirely. Possible that in this version, Martin may not have been involved.
Imo the UMF one had more emotion and the vibe was good, just that the drop should have been stronger (and not We'll be Remembered type - weak drop)
