I grew up in Petersfield from the late sixties, through the seventies and eighties, attending the schools there as they were then; we pronounced Buriton "Berry ton" (and Stroud "Strood").Nice snippet of a lovely town, far too much going on to squeeze into five minutes, thanks for sharing

I'm surprised you didn't include the Flora Twort cafe and its history. Beautiful town petersfield. I grew up in Stroud just a few miles down the road.
