As a german I feel terribly ashamed of the past. This should remind us that we need to come back together as one people and stop the ridiculous divides in our countries.

People DO NOT learn from history -- history is doomed to be repeated over and over

Thank you for sharing these important and painful stories and memories. We need to listen well, so we can prevent any repetition of this. Too many scary similarities nowadays. As is the Jewish saying, for the victims of the Holocaust, may their memories be a blessing.

At 0:26, yes he had jewish and non jewish friends. That is wonderful, BUT he was a not a zionist. You cannot go hating a person because they are Jewish, or any other religion. Just because theres a mafia do you hate all Italians? Of corse not. So then dont blame the Jewish familys who have nothing to do, or arent even aware of Zionism, or the Protocols of zion. You are not being fair and open minded. I wish all peoples could be friendly to each other, but the world just isnt that

Look up the Tulsa race riot in America. Not much different... Racists in America are pretty much the same as Nazis.

Thank you for the video of "Kristallnacht". It teaches us what happens when we harbor the toxic ideology and dangerous hatred such as anti-Semitism and bigotry against other groups of people.

Now do an interview of Germans who had to live through the Weimar republic.

The survivors speak truth.
Especially that we are suspicious of those who are different, we believe fake news that can be the demise of our values. Push political views often... God help us. This can certainly happen again.
