On the Job: A Day at the Cameron Park Zoo

Have you ever wondered what happens when our staff cares for the animals at the Cameron Park Zoo? Now, you can enjoy a behind-the-scenes look through our “On The Job” video series!

The zookeepers at the zoo work hard every day to maintain animal care and safety in all exhibits of the zoo. Near the Brazos River, the Cameron Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (or, AZA). It is home to more than 1,400 animals, representing over 350 species. The zoo also stays at the forefront of animal wildlife conservation and consistently educates and informs the community and visitors on animal endangerment biodiversity.
