Logansport officials say immigrant population growth is unsustainable

The influx of new people coming to Logansport has some government officials speaking out believing the current growth is not sustainable.

We have boycotted Tyson ever since they laid off all those people at that one processing station and hired illegal immigrant to take their places instead of Americans. Supposedly somewhere on the Internet may be here. Someone snuck in a camera into one of those facilities and what they saw was surprising. Can’t find it on YouTube anywhere but maybe some other social media has it posted. I think Tyson is to blame to hire these people at a lower wage shame on Tyson.

Indiana is not a sanctuary state. 1. There are no laws or policies in Indiana that specifically protect undocumented immigrants from deportation or offer any services or benefits1. In fact, the state has a ban on sanctuary cities2. Why are our government officials not enforcing the law and protecting? Why are they getting any services or benefits here? Why didn't FOX 59 News talk about this? Right now, Fox is the only news station I watch. The plan to handle it is they need to go, and then come back the right way. The legal way. My heart hurts for these people, but this is wrong. Everyone knows it is wrong. Stop it. I agree that Tyson needs to be held accountable.

Same story in Washington Indiana. New apartments, less than a year old have been basically destroyed. Common walls between apartments sawed out so they have free run of the whole building, doors removed from kitchen cabinets and chicken wire put up with chickens living in the cabinets. Heard it from a Dutch friend last week who was called to make repairs and walked away from the job.
