NBC News Beijing Correspondent Janis Mackey Frayer was on board a U.S. Navy surveillance flight over the South China Sea when a Chinese fighter jet appeared on their wing and flew alongside for over an hour.

I do have to say, we do the same thing when anyone else comes too close in a plane. It happens in Alaska, over the Atlantic, and Arctic all time. I trust pilots more than I trust their leaders anyway.

Actually this is NOT a j11 as you can see on the cockpit, its a dual seater. This indicate that its a j16, chinas version of the su30.
