Canada's First Circular Food Economy - A City of Villages

Biomimicry Frontiers is proud to be a part of the City of Guelph's Our Food Future project, helping create Canada's first circular food economy.
We are participating by building redundant food systems, encouraging neighbourhoods to better interact around food production in the community. We are mapping food resources, helping people sell or donate their excess backyard veggies, and promoting more strategic planting to work with the ecosystem and each other, more effectively. The end goal is to create a more resilient food system by encouraging more strategic local food systems.
