A wise person learns from their mistakes, a wiser person learns from other's mistakes so thanks for making us all a little wiser!

I just want to say thank you for the great videos and ideas. Very well explained and also understandable for non-English speaking viewers. Please keep it up. Greetings, Ingo from Germany

I like seeing the mistakes, you learn more from the errors, than you do if it always just works.

One problem I could see happening.... if they have access to Wifi the guests might not want to leave!
Another great video, Rich. You always explain things in a way that's easy to fallow and understand. Greg

Great video, as always, Rich. loving the songs whilst watching the laser get to work

Looks good Rich. I like the rounded corners better too. The only change I'd make is the words "Wifi". I know they're centered but, the look like they should be moved a bit left (obviously it's very subjective). Thanks again for another great video. I learn something (or many things) new with each video you post!

Great job Rich. With the precision of the LaserMatic MK2 you could have put the big piece of wood back in and then popped the house into the cut out part and ran the fill with the slower speed and or higher power and would have accomplished darkening it without having a wasted peace.

Rich, this is a great idea and will certainly get this out of the way when guests arrive. It's amazing how creative your mind is. I notice that you have 3D LED Night Lights linked in your video description. Is there a video of you working with these on a diode laser that I cannot find?

When i make a QR code on wood 10 by 10 sm it's was not recognised from distance smaller than 1 meter.
Advice to laser enthusiast - if you don't want to fail beautiful material just test your project on some piece of cardboard 😉
Thanks for that informative video and funny Hobby Guy song 🥂

you could cut out the spot for the code and insert one from the white wood, or glue it on top maybe? nice job could sell these at craft show if you could print a stick on label for the code

I did like the color of the first one. Can it be mask for the QR code and paint it

I'm curious how would you burn the code into something that was dark colored? I believe the QR-code would essentially be a negative and not read correctly.

Two things. At 9:30, instead of offsetting, wouldn't it have just been easier to just change that outline directly to the cut layer?
More importantly, though... what mouse did you get? I have been using a trackball for over 10 years and LOVE it, but I wouldn't mind one with three buttons. Wonder if I could add one? 🤔 Anyway... nice tutorial. I love that painted plywood!

Love the video. However I can never get a QR code to work out of lightburn specifically the password it is scan the network and then it asked me to enter the password so I always use my Android phone and get a QR code for the internet that I'm making a plaque for. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?
