US Core Inflation Slows Below Estimates to 0.2% M/M

The core US consumer price index rose 0.2% in November and was up 6% from a year earlier, according to a Labor Department report Tuesday. The median estimates in a Bloomberg survey of economists called for a 0.3% rise in both the core and overall measures. Bloomberg's Mike McKee has the numbers on "Bloomberg Surveillance."
