Показать описание
The Easy Motion Evo City Wave is a great "all around" city style electric bike with twist throttle and four levels of pedal-assist for extending range. Excellent accessories including suspension fork, ergonomic grips, full length fenders and a carry rack, dynamo powered LED lights and a tool-free adjustable stem. Uses larger wheels and a taller frame than the Evo Street or Evo Eco Lite meaning it will fit larger riders more comfortably. Throttle does not override assist, front wheel does not offer quick release, only available in one color and size.

Torque sensor can be adjusted by a small allen screw. It can be adjusted so sensitive that only weight of pedal triggers assistance.

That torque sensor sensitivity was kind of unexpected. I am thinking cobblestones and such. Could it trigger continuosly on the wrong surface?

The good thing with a torque sensor is (should be) that when peddling e.g. in Eco mode and pedalling “normally” the power to the motor is low, but e.g. going a bit uphill or having a stronger wind in your face and (thus automatically) pedalling a bit harder, the motor should automatically give more power. I have experienced this on a Flyer, which automatically switched power between 1/5 and 3/5 in Eco mode = Best experience I ever had on a e-bike. It would be nice if you could focus a bit more on these important and wonderful features, in stead of always switching to maximum throttle.. (Range is important(er!))

How about a small geared motor to go 6mph up a hill with low power usage, and a small direct drive motor to cruise at 20mph on flat ground?

What kind of e bike would you recommend for a tourist rental on flat roads in a Caribbean island. 15 -20 bikes

Great review, Id probably just use the throttle by default and really just use it during hills, i can only see myself using the pedal assist during long gradual inclines, given the impressive 90km range of the battery, if you are just using pedal assist just for long inclines and hills, you'd only need to recharge the battery once a month or so if you are commuting like 20 kms everyday. The fun of a e-bike is just to get through inclines and hills without wearing out the thighs and not reducing speed lol

I'm leaning towards the city instead of the street. Do you think its safe for my height? I'm five feet tall.
