I would absolutely enjoy watching you fix this thing up and then enjoying it. You need a Big, Bad and Built shirt featuring the Blazer

My first vehicle I bought at 16 was a 77 K5 Blazer, 4 inch lift, giant Holley carb, 35 inch tires. Black with all red shag carpet interior, my high school love machine. lol. Let's just say we had some fun wheeling in high school. friends had 70's Scouts and Broncos. The Blazer dominated them all in Michigan terrain, I was constantly pulling someone out. Lots of Fords. Second truck was a 78 K5, blue, I built front and rear bumpers in welding class for both ot them, one had a 25 foot anchor chain with a huge hook, welded to the frame and I would wrap the bumper with it. Subtle things like that. I also bought a K5 out in Denver years later and drove it around without the top all the time. Not very practical but fun.

I got myself an 89 camaro (garage find parked 17 years) brings back memories when me and my dad worked on my cousin's camaro a yellow rally sport about 78', when i was younger 15, he was a few months older. We went through it timing was messed up, new air filter, old spark plugs, tightened up the squeaky belt, and I found two spark plug wires mixed around (3 and 5) nothing like a 1500 rpm backfire. got it running pretty good till we got 4 miles out of town and it died come to find out we missed a wire on on the distributor. He pulled over quickly pushed in the clutch put it in neutral, opened the hood and he knew exactly what wire he missed, then got that old RS booking through gears. I remember squishing into that seat for 3 gears lol good ol' 4 on the floor.

Gotta love an ol Chevy. She's a beauty. I've got a 79' GMC 1 ton long wheelbase dually I built, put a flatbed on it and stuck a 454 in her, man what a rumble. She'll pass about anything but a gas station lol.

People don’t understand how much a vehicle can bring back memories and touch a person

I can’t think of anything more badass than OB in a 86 Blazer

Brings back memories. I love it. It's obvious that you're not going mudding, which is good or you definitely be replacing the transmission....again and again...

This popped up in my feed bc I have an 86 k5 that I daily and I'm constantly looking shit up. HUGE bonus when I saw it was Roberts. Also I have 3 of the mystery switches in various locations around the dash😅

That little switch disperses pre workout

So great that you are here in Idaho, I think that more people need to know you live here. You would definitely have a bigger local following if you mentioned it a bit more. You are a great role model. Love to see you with Matt Carrier on the ranch!

I had a 76, that was posi front and rear. It would climb a tree, but we had to replace u-joints in the drive shafts every other year. All of them.

You can have Eddie come help you, he’s a mechanic, and has nothing going on.
