I don’t get how that guy said the magnetic finger thing is a cheap gimmick. It looks totally badass and fun, and could probably be expanded on with today’s technology

Man what a throwback. My friends and I when we were kids went crazy with Battle Strikers. Then when Metal Fight came out we still used them!
I'm sad all of my stuff disappeared when we moved since I had so much of it! Man, good times!

YEAH! BATTLE STRIKERS! I actually love these things and still collect them! I like the Metal XS/FX series the most but Series 1 is pretty cool! Nice to see you cover these, they deserve more attention!

I remember when my older brother had these. I was hoping to finally beat him when MF beys came out, but he would pick his up with the magnet and drop it on my bey lol. So needless to say I never won

In one of the battling clips, I watched a dude control his opponents top, and sling it away. Idk if that would have been a legal move, but it blew my mind.

This is the only competitor brand I remember actually.
I never had any, I just remember seeing them.

These were actually really famous where i’m from. We used to battle them against beyblades using bookstands as stadiums. I had a massive collection of battle strikers. I even had the carrying case that connects to the motorized stadium. Good times.

Yoooo I remember these! So much fun. I ended up getting into beyblade, but I played with these so much. The rubber had a distinctive smell, I can still picture it. There was also an online game which ended up being fun

You could count the RC controller but personally I had a very strong bond with my bit beast giving me complete control 😉

7:51 LMAO THAT dear friends is what non-stop battling looks like on a Blade moving at high speeds melting the tip down with EVERY back to back. Thats also icluding test spins and battles with the same Blade or Blade combos mixing parts.

Man, these things actually had the potential to compete with Beyblade if they just marketed them enough

I can barely even remember seeing a single ad each for OG, Metal Xs, and Mecha FX like 1-2× each. The magnet and motor gimmick alone would've been enough to make them a side-option to Beys

They're so rare now because almost nobody knew they even existed, even back then there was exactly 16 people commenting on their social media, but I managed to score a near-complete stadium + Metal Xs + Mecha FX collection for 600, and they're a blast to use

They also had a browser game which actually simulated Anime Beyblade combat, but with Battle Strikers, all the way down to special moves and bit beasts. It got taken down pretty quickly for some reason

Thank you for making a video on this! I got the Battle Strikers starter set years ago and actually still have them. I love Beyblade but thought they were pretty neat as well.

I actually used to have a Battle Striker set because my parents thought I couldn't handle Beyblades. Battle Strikers weren't too exciting so my Parents ended up buying me some of the keychain Beyblades then I eventually got my first 2 pack around the end of Metal Fusion/going into Metal Masters. I don't remember much about Battle Strikers but I can tell that it probably meant a lot to someone even though it didn't have a good impression on me
